Teresinha is based in an artists' studio at the Custard Factory
Studio 319, Scott House, The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Birmingham B9 4DT, UK

The location of the Custard Factory is shown on this Bing link. It is 10-15 minutes walk from Birmingham New Street rail station, and 5 minutes from Birmingham's new Digbeth Coach Station that is on the High Street Deritend, near Mill Lane. The position of Birmingham’s New Street and Snow Hill rail stations are clearly shown on the Bing map, in the upper left quarter of the map.

The Custard Factory is on the corner of Gibb Street with the High Street Deritend (cf. red circle in centre of map).

Birmingham’s oldest inn, the 12th century "The Old Crown", is next to the Custard Factory and is on the corner of Heath Mill Lane with the High Street Deritend.

The Custard Factory has a Pay and Display car park close by on Heath Mill Lane, at its junction with Lower Trinity Street. Enter B9 4AA into your sat nav to find your way there.

If you wish to visit, contact Teresinha via the contact form or telephone her on her mobile +44 7979 770865 several days before your intended visit.

Walking to the Custard Factory from New Street station
New Street station is being re-built (2014-15), so directions change from time to time.

From the train platform, go up to the main ticket barrier (most passengers go that way). After the ticket barrier, go up the slope, staying on the right hand side. Exit the station through doors and turn right along the side of the station keeping right until you meet a main street. Cross the street at the pedestrian crossing. Turn right and walk a short distance till you find a glass door on your left with a spiral staircase. Go down the staircase to the lower street level and turn left.

Carry on walking between the shopping centre and the markets. You will pass an indoor market and an outdoor market on your left. When you reach a road (which is one way) cross it towards the Bull Ring Tavern and the Leather shop using the pedestrian crossing.

Turn right and follow the road round to Digbeth High Street. Cross the High Street to the opposite side and turn right. Carry on walking along Digbeth High Street. On your left you will pass a bright yellow shop and some Irish pubs. On the right you will see a large copper-faced building which is the new Birmingham Coach Station.

Carry on walking till you pass a college. You will see a large car park on your left and then the Custard Factory. Turn left down the narrow Gibb Street towards the Custard Factory reception (50 m). Give Teresinha a ring (mob. 07979 770865) when you get to the reception and she will come to collect you.

If you walk past the Old Crown pub, you have gone too far, the Custard Factory is before the pub.
