The SpinOlution Echo is an entry level spinning wheel but has many of the technological improvements of the Mach II and Bee travel wheels. It is simple enough for the novice spinner to learn on but engineered so that the most advanced spinners will enjoy using it.
The Echo is made from furniture grade Birch Plywood, for years of dependable use and it has a stable base with rubber feet.
The 3 Speed Spindle is provided with ratios from 1:4 to 1:8 so that you can work at your speed, and the Multiple Bearings allow for smooth and efficient operation. There is a simple Quick Bobbin Release so that you don’t struggle to change the bobbins and the bobbins are interchangeable with those of the Bee travel spinning wheel. The tension adjustment is very easy to use.
The SpinOlution Echo wheel includes 1 bobbin but you can buy more bobbins from the SpinOlution Bobbins page.
The SpinOlution Echo spinning wheel requires a little assembly but this is quick to do. There are 4 pieces in the box, the main frame with drive wheel installed, the spindle head with flyer assembly installed and the 2 feet. Six screws are provided and assembly comprises attaching each of the feet with 2 screws followed by attaching the spindle head, also with two screws. This is followed by draping the drive band over one of the pulleys, inserting the band between the hub and treadle and guiding the band around the wheel. The whole procedure should take no more than 10-15 minutes.
