Weaving Needles
3 different types of needles: a straight flat raffia needle, a cranked flat raffia needle, and a cranked weaving needle or raffia wire.

The large cranked weaving needle (12.5 cm or 5 inch in length) is hard to find, and great for weaving the final row on Hazel Rose quilt weaver looms. They are also useful for weaving on simple looms such as cardboard looms. The flat needles (both 7.3 cm or 2 inch in length) are great for weaving coiled baskets.

Trapunto Needles
Designed to be used for Trapunto needlework and Italian Quilting, we found the large needle in this kit especially good for using with Hazel Rose Multi-looms.

This unique kit comprises of 3 needles all with large eyes for easy threading of even the heaviest gauge of wools. The long, ball pointed needle is ideal for use with Hazel Rose Multi-looms whilst the smaller, sharp-pointed needles are intended for surface stitching work. You may need to use the needle on its side occasionally, as the space between some of the nails on the Hazel Rose Multi-looms can be too tight for the eye of the needle when it is horizontal.

Knitters Needles
Need to sew up squares woven on your Hazel Rose loom?

Knitters’ needles, also commonly known as sewing up needles, are used by knitters to sew pieces of work together. This pack contains two needles both with blunt ends, a size 14 and size 18. These needles are of exceptional quality and perfect for sewing up woven squares.

Size 14 is the larger needle in the pack and is ideal for sewing up Aran and chunky garments, whilst the smaller size 18 needle is ideal when sewing up garments made out of double knitting, 3 ply and 4 ply.
